Mabs support socks are compression class 1 (15-21 mmHg) and have a graduated compression that is highest at the ankles and then decreases towards the knees. Support stockings stimulate blood flow in the legs and feet so that you can feel more alert in your legs, whether you stand, walk or sit a lot. When we stand/sit for a long time, our legs and feet can swell and feel heavy. The swelling can often be relieved with support stockings.
Benefits of support stockings
- Improves blood flow
- Prevents tired and swollen legs and feet
- Reduces the risk of blood clots and varicose veins
To find your size and get the perfect fit, there are three measurements you should use (in order below). Remember to measure in the morning as your legs or feet will swell later in the day.
1 The circumference around the ankle where it is narrowest (A).
2 The circumference around your calf where it is widest (B).
3 Your shoe size (C).
